Shane Rebenschied grew up in Oak Creek Canyon just north of Sedona, Arizona. After graduating in 1998 from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, Shane and his family lived in California while he began his career as a freelance illustrator. He has recently turned his attention to painting in oils which has caught the attention of collectors worldwide. A native of the American Southwest, Shane paints a myriad of subject matter from landscapes to still lifes to birds. Shane and his family currently live on the North Island of New Zealand where he also paints the local landscape and wildlife.
